Human Resources and Change Management Workshop

Human RightS Initiative and Cultural Heritage Studies Program welcome applications for a one-day workshop on human resources in the public and non-profit sector. The workshop will focus on providing general understanding in approaching HR as a strategic area of any organization, and developing skills and competences in the field.

 

The workshop will take place on Saturday, 24th of February, 10 AM – 6PM

 

 

The overall aim of this workshop is to introduce the major elements of effective human resources management and practices, and to increase participants’ understanding when it comes to continuing their own careers in the cultural sphere internationally. Throughout the interactive workshop, basic theory will be balanced with examples, case discussions, and skill developments in the field of HR.

 

The main topics of the workshop will touch upon: key roles and responsibilities within the Human Resources function, talent management and succession planning, capacity and capability building and change management, good practices in the field generally and in cultural heritage, challenges for HR management in the public and non-profit sector.

 

The Facilitator

Eszter Handó has an MSc degree in Business Economics. In her consultancy work, she integrates 20 years of experience working in managerial and leadership HR roles within the world’s leading global FMCG company, Procter&Gamble, as well as her own private social enterprise company in the countryside. She is engaged in mentoring, coaching and facilitating and she acts as a guest lecturer in Pécs University Faculty of Economics. She co-leads with her partner an active leisure/recreation center for kids with traditional farming and environment protection activities.
